Flying in Paragliding
This experience marked my life in a spectacular way, it can be said that from that experience there was a before and after in my life. I discovered the wonderful world of adventure sports. And it's not that I'm an extreme athlete, at least I'm not at that level yet, but I consider myself a lover of adventure sports.Since I was little I had dreams where I could fly, and let's say I grew up with that desire. It happened that in those days I was going through a somewhat complicated situation, my mood was not the best we could say, and I wanted to do something different, something that would give me the motivation I needed, a spark, a flame that ignited my desire to to live. One day I told a friend who knew my situation, that I wanted to do something special, that I wanted to fly, and she told me: "I have it for you, I know a pilot who flies paragliding, let me talk to him, to see if he makes you a flight"I was like "What is he talking about?" But I did not refuse, at that time I did not know about that activity. That day we went on a motorcycle, it was 30 minutes of travel, we arrived at a place where there were several people, the pilot arrived, a young man, my friend introduced us, he was a friendly and very professional boy, he made me feel comfortable. We did a walk of about 50 minutes to the flight site, as it was a small mountain and there was no road. I confess it was exhausting the climb, I almost fainted, that was how rusty I was.We arrived at the site, the view from the top of the mountain was very pleasant, it was a bit quiet, until they began to put the passenger seat and the safety equipment on me. My heart began to beat very hard, I felt like I was going to faint, I tried to get over it and not get carried away by fear.Well the moment has come, the pilot had his equipment on, and he was anchored to my team with a safety harness, so that I was in front of him. We started the paragliding flight, seeing that my feet were moving away from the ground was something surprising, seeing the circle of the earth and its spectacular landscape with its striking colors, that wonderful view, feeling the air, seeing the birds fly near us, So much was my emotion that I screamed a lot of the adrenaline that I felt, I felt alive, it was magnificent, an unforgettable experience. The landing gave me much more fear than I imagined, seeing me approach the landing site, that feeling that I was going to crash on the ground, I almost died of fear. (That fear is still latent every time I go to land on each paragliding flight). At the end of the activity, I returned with my friend on a motorcycle, all the way back I spent screaming, that energy was still in my body in an indescribable way, I just wanted to scream with happiness, download all that I felt, haha &'&'surely I looked like a madwoman screaming out of nowhere, and to top it all I lasted several days with that adrenaline.I enjoyed every moment of that day, this experience made me realize how lucky I am, that the decision to be happy or not is in my hands.Postscript, I think I overdid it with the writing, I was very inspired.
